Riggins excels in the design, manufacture and installation of custom pressure vessels and storage tanks for the chemical, petrochemical, paper and power industries. Riggins Company holds ASME certificates of authorization in the categories of U, U2, and National Board R stamps to cover a broad range of pressure system requirements. The ASME Section VIII, Division 2 stamp allows Riggins to design and fabricate systems or vessels in lethal, cyclical or very high-pressure service.

Our extensive capabilities include design and fabrication of large diameter tanks weighing up to 30 tons. Our close proximity to the deep-water port of Hampton Roads provides for waterborne transportation options.

We fabricate pressure vessels and tanks using a wide array of materials, from the mundane carbon and stainless steels to the more exotic nickel, copper, monel, inconel, and duplex stainless alloys. Our expertise encompasses jacketed vessels, polished and electro-polished tanks, process skids, quick opening hatches and many high-pressure applications.

Our full service offerings include field repair and installation of pressure vessels and tanks. In addition, we offer very custom design solutions requiring finite element analysis, mechanical or thermal design capabilities.
